Hello Everyone, Due to recent events concerning COVID-19, we’re continuing to keep you informed in this series. St. Louis County has new public health orders that has already taken effect this week, as of Tuesday Nov. 17th. There are new public health orders because they have seen a record number of COVID-19 cases and our local hospitals are overwhelmed.
The key things are that you should stay at home unless it is necessary to leave your home for things like going to work, going to school, seeking medical care, buying food or other necessities.
Once again because of the risk, the order bans gatherings of groups larger than 10. Wearing a mask and social distancing of 6 ft. remains.
Restaurants can’t offer indoor dining. They can still offer outdoor dining. Both them and bars can provide carryout and delivery. Businesses must reduce their capacity from 50% to 25%.
Understand this new order allows for “support bubbles” in which if you must see others outside of your home to meet your social and emotional needs, you may form a group, of no more than 10 people. Continue to mask and social distance to reduce the risk of transmission.
