Why are you here? It’s because you have a desire to bridge the communication gap between you and a deaf or hard of hearing person. We congratulate you for the initiative you’ve made - You’ve come to the right place!

 

DEAF, Inc. is dedicated to providing the highest quality of professional and ethical interpreting services at reasonable prices to our clients. Our interpreters provide translation in accordance with the communication preferences of the deaf and hard of hearing persons we serve in the St. Louis Metro area. By using interpreters, you will provide equal communication access and enhance the quality of interaction between deaf and hearing people.

 

Our interpreters are experienced professionals in a variety of communication languages and systems. Recently, we have adapted to the increasing need for remote services, as well; DEAF, Inc. now offers services virtually, when appropriate, keeping everyone involved as safe as possible. We are able to provide interpreting services for individuals who use prefer:

 

• American Sign Language Interpretation (ASL-based)

• Transliteration (English-based)

• High Visual Orientation

• Tactile for the Deaf-Blind

 

If you encounter an unique signed language, we will be happy to assist you in providing a qualified interpreter or locating someone that can help.
