Celebrating 10 Years of Magic: Breakfast with Signing Santa

a on December 6th! From Santa’s festive greetings to the Grinch’s surprise visit to Whoville, the morning was filled with smiles, laughter and a beautiful reminder that “maybe Christmas doesn’t come from a store—maybe Christmas means a little bit more.” 

This year marks a special milestone as Breakfast with Signing Santa celebrates its 10th anniversary of creating magical, inclusive holiday experiences for Deaf, hard of hearing, DeafBlind children as well as Children of Deaf Adults and Siblings (CODAs) of Deaf Children (SODAs). Over the past decade, this beloved event has grown into a cherished tradition—one that not only brings the joy of the season to life, but also fosters belonging, connection, and community.

De Linda Brite, DEAF, Inc.’s Community Program Director, reflects on the importance of the event: “Breakfast with Signing Santa is a cornerstone of our Youth & Family Program, providing an inclusive space where families can find connection that can transform their lives and strengthen our community in meaningful, lasting ways.”
