Get Involved as a Camper

Teen Institute is looking for students who want to be prevention advocates. Although this camp emphasizes alcohol and drug abuse prevention, activities and education also promote teamwork, leadership, and communication skills. If you are interested or have a child who is interested in these topics, take a look at the following camper qualifications.

Camper Qualifications:

• Either Deaf or hard of hearing OR a sibling or child of someone who is Deaf or hard of hearing.

• Between the age of 13-19

• Willing to attend the duration of the camp

• Parental consent to attend

• Trust and respect of his/her peers
